Location: Ascot, UK | Type: Full-Time, Daytime Only | Salary: Up to £17.71 / Hour
About the Role

We’re looking for an Assistant Manager who leads with warmth, energy and care for people. As Assistant Manager, you’ll work closely with the General Manager to support the running of the restaurant.
- Support the day-to-day running of the café
- Lead shifts and be a strong presence on the floor
- Help build, support and develop the team
- Create a warm, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere
- Keep standards high across service, food and environment
- Support rotas, stock, labour and daily organisation
- Follow and improve systems and ways of working
- Keep communication clear between kitchen and floor
- Step in during busy periods and keep service flowing
Who You Are
You’re positive, reliable and people-focused. You’ll fit well here if you:
- Have experience as a Supervisor or Assistant Manager
- Enjoy being on the floor and leading by example
- Stay calm and solution-focused during busy service
- Communicate clearly and with respect
- Are organised and structured in how you work
- Take initiative and ownership of your shifts
- Care about people and team culture
