Senior Procurement Manager

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to lead procurement of works and professional services for major water sector capital programmes in Bath. This is a permanent, on-site role with salary dependent on experience.

What you'll do

  • Develop and deliver procurement strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Lead the full procurement lifecycle from planning to contract award
  • Establish, negotiate and manage high-value frameworks and contracts (including NEC)
  • Build and manage strategic supplier relationships
  • Ensure compliance with environmental standards and H&S legislation
  • Manage procurement budgets and monitor savings
  • Identify and manage commercial and supply chain risks
  • Lead, develop and inspire a team of procurement professionals

What you'll need

  • Substantial procurement experience in water, utilities, construction or infrastructure
  • Strong background in regulated procurement and large-scale capital delivery
  • Proven experience negotiating complex high-value contracts
  • Significant people leadership experience
  • Excellent commercial and financial acumen
  • Solid understanding of procurement governance and risk management
  • Ability to collaborate across technical and corporate stakeholders
  • Experience with e-procurement and contract management systems
