Role Overview

A welcoming primary school in Banbury are looking for a new mental health assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This role is ideal for aspiring psychologists who are looking for invaluable experience, supporting vulnerable children within a primary school setting.

• Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups
• Become familiar with the national curriculum and tailor activities to meet individual needs
• Work with pupils with a range of SEN and SEMH needs, such as ASD, ADHD, learning difficulties and attachment disorders

What to Expect

• Primary School Setting
• £89-£100 per day
• Supporting pupils with SEN and SEMH needs
• Immediate start available

Ideal Candidate

This role is ideal for a psychology graduate who is looking for invaluable classroom experience to help them on their way to becoming a psychologist. It is also suited to experienced teaching assistants who have an interest in mental health support and wish to support this avenue further.
