FULL DESCRIPTION

Teaching Assistant

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant for a mainstream primary school in Stanford-le-Hope, Essex. This full-time, long-term role starts after February half-term 2026, with a view to becoming permanent. Salary: £88-£100 per day (DOE), term time only (Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm). Parking available.

About the Role

You will support children with additional needs, providing nurturing and positive school experiences. Experience with SEN such as ADHD, Autism (ASD), SEMH, Global Delay, MLD, EBD, and Challenging Behaviour is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups
  • Be a positive role model and promote confidence
  • Assist with planning activities with the class teacher and SENCO
  • Carry out general class teaching assistant duties
