Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Luton, supporting young learners with a range of additional needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about education and making a real difference in children's lives.

The Role

• Support young learners within a SEN Specialist School
• Work with pupils who have autism, learning difficulties, and social, emotional or behavioural needs
• Provide one-to-one and small group support in and out of the classroom
• Assist the class teacher with tailored learning activities
• Support pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour management, and personal development
• Help create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
• Play a key role in pupils' progress within education

What We’re Looking For

• Has a genuine passion for working in education and training
• Is patient, caring, and resilient
• Can build strong relationships with young learners
• Works well as part of a team in a SEN school setting
• Has experience supporting children with SEN (desirable but not essential)
• Is keen to develop their skills within education and training
