Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Luton, supporting young learners with a range of additional needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about education and making a real difference in children's lives.
The Role
- Support young learners within a SEN Specialist School
- Work with pupils who have autism, learning difficulties, and social, emotional or behavioural needs
- Provide one-to-one and small group support in and out of the classroom
- Assist the class teacher with tailored learning activities
- Support pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour management, and personal development
- Help create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
- Play a key role in pupils' progress within education

- Has a genuine passion for working in education and training
- Is patient, caring, and resilient
- Can build strong relationships with young learners
- Works well as part of a team in a SEN school setting
- Has experience supporting children with SEN (desirable but not essential)
