Early Years Teacher
Location: Wakefield | Contract: Temporary (Supply through [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]) | Salary: £160 - £225 per day | Start Date: ASAP
The Role
We are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school setting to recruit a dedicated Early Years Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate professional to support children's early development in a nurturing and engaging environment. As an Early Years Teacher you will be responsible for delivering high-quality early years education in line with the EYFS framework, creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning space where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, play-based learning activities in line with EYFS
- Support children's social, emotional and academic development
- Carry out observations, assessments and record progress
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Follow safeguarding and setting policies at all times
The Ideal Candidate
- Hold EYTS or QTS with EYFS experience
- Has a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
- Is enthusiastic, patient and child-centred
- Can work effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication and organisational skills
Requirements for an Early Years Teacher
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
- Right to work in the UK
- Recent experience working within an early years setting
- Two professional references (Teaching references)
