Job Description

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is urgently recruiting for a Mid-Day Supervisor to work in a special educational needs (SEN) school based in Chester. This is a temporary position, ideal for someone looking to gain experience in education or take the next step in their support career.

Working Hours

11:30 AM – 1:30 PM (Monday to Friday)

Role Responsibilities

  • Support students during lunchtime, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and positive social interaction.
  • Work alongside dedicated staff in a nurturing SEN environment.
  • Help create a structured, caring lunchtime routine.

Requirements

  • Enjoys working with children and young people
  • Confident in building relationships with pupils and staff
  • Calm, patient, and understanding approach – particularly important in an SEN setting
  • Good understanding of safeguarding practices
  • Reliable, enthusiastic, and a team player
