FULL DESCRIPTION
1:1 Teaching Assistant
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a dedicated SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) in Early Years settings across Barry, Vale of Glamorgan. This full-time, short-term supply role offers £88.94 to £95 per day depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support for pupils with ALN and complex needs
- Assist with communication, social, and emotional development
- Support learning activities under teacher and SENCO guidance
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements
- Experience supporting children with ALN/complex needs (Early Years desirable)
- Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
- Enhanced DBS (Update Service or willing to apply)
- Two professional references
