NQT – KS1 Primary Teacher – Doncaster

About the Role
As a KS1 NQT in Doncaster, you will be delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons across Year 1 and Year 2, supporting pupils with early literacy, numeracy and social development. This role is ideal for an NQT who is passionate about early learning and wants to gain experience across different KS1 settings without committing to a permanent role straight away. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative KS1 lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Create a nurturing, inclusive and structured classroom environment
- Support pupils' early reading, writing and maths development
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Monitor and assess pupil progress
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and senior staff
- Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Newly Qualified Teacher or completing ECT induction
- Passion for KS1 and early primary education
- Confident classroom management and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
