Job Description

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant, Tutor, or Support Worker ready to take the next step in your career? [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] are recruiting an Outreach Tutor in High Wycombe to work with a small caseload of disengaged or vulnerable learners who require personalised, community-based educational support.

As an Outreach Tutor, you will deliver bespoke academic and pastoral sessions to young people who are currently unable to access mainstream education. Working in learners’ homes, libraries, community centres, and other local settings, you will play a vital role in helping students regain confidence, overcome barriers to learning, and make progress towards reintegration into school or alternative provisions.

We are seeking someone resilient, adaptable, and passionate about supporting young people with additional needs. Strong behaviour management skills, experience working 1:1, and the ability to tailor your teaching to individual learning styles are essential. This role is perfect for those who thrive in flexible, one-to-one environments and who want to make a meaningful impact on hard-to-reach learners.

Our client provides full training and ongoing support, making this an excellent opportunity for tutors or experienced support staff who are ready to take on greater responsibility within an outreach setting. As an Outreach Tutor in High Wycombe, you will have the opportunity to genuinely transform young lives—helping learners re-engage, achieve, and move forward in their education.
