The Opportunity

The successful candidate will work closely with the project leadership team and the wider commercial department to support the efficient and successful delivery of the project for clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide commercial and contractual support to the Commercial Manager
  • Prepare internal valuations and produce detailed cost reports
  • Support the management of subcontract packages, including overseeing payments to subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
  • Prepare remeasurements and variations for submission and agreement with clients
  • Monitor and report on project budgets, costs, and variations
  • Distribute and track invoices for approval across project stakeholders
  • Respond to queries from suppliers, procurement, and finance teams, including monthly accruals, in a timely and professional manner

Key Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years' post-graduate experience within the construction sector
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • High level of computer literacy, including experience with estimating software
  • Effective communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to meet demanding deadlines and maintain high-quality standards
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in take-offs and pricing accuracy
