GSE Sales Manager – [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] – Gatwick, West Sussex – £55,000 - £60,000 per annum – Permanent – Full-time
Job Description
Strategic, hands-on sales role focused on winning new business within airports, airlines, and ground handling companies. Responsible for driving revenue growth through proactive field sales, account development, and full sales cycle management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned with business growth targets
- Identify and win new business across airports, airlines, and ground handlers
- Drive outbound activity (cold calling, site visits, networking, field sales)
- Manage full sales cycle: prospecting → closing → handover
- Deliver tailored proposals and value-driven solutions
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
- Travel regularly for client meetings and industry events
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, product, marketing)
- Maintain CRM accuracy, pipeline tracking, and sales forecasts
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs
- Support pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and proposal development
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations
Key Requirements
- Proven B2B sales experience with consistent target achievement
- Background in aviation, ground handling, or similar engineering/manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Strong experience developing and executing sales strategies
- Comfortable with cold calling and field-based selling
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and commercially focused
- Strong relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders
