More About the Residential Property Team

Led by Michelle Moore-Saxton (Partner), our Richmond-based team is part of our wider Residential Property Team, well-known for providing legal advice on a wide variety of residential property transactions, particularly for high-net-worth clients.

Day to Day

As a Paralegal, you will:

  • Collaborate closely with colleagues of all seniorities.
  • Run your own caseload of files including sales, transfers of equity, licences to assign, deeds of covenant, and remortgages.
  • Attend client meetings, undertake research, and draft documentation.
  • Support with administrative tasks including billing, Land Registry applications, Stamp Duty Land Tax returns, and Lender Portals.

What We Look For

  • At least one year’s experience in a Residential Property Team as a Paralegal, Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant or similar.
  • Experience in property-related roles (Residential Property, Commercial Property, Plot Sales, New Homes).
  • Calm under pressure, proactive, good time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Naturally caring, empathetic, confident in engaging with clients and colleagues.
  • Great communication skills and collaborative mindset.
  • Familiarity with time recording, IT skills, and managing a small fee target.
