Apprentice Vehicle Technician

About the Opportunity

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Ltd are offering an opportunity to join the team as an Apprentice Vehicle Technician. You will work towards the Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Technician and undertake your apprenticeship training at the Ford College in Daventry. The three-year course is a combination of workplace training and block release learning at Daventry.

Our hours of work are 08:00 – 17:30 Monday to Friday and 08:00 – 13:00 Saturday on a rota basis.

Your Role

• To assist technicians with vehicle maintenance, servicing, and repairs.
• To help maintain a safe working environment.
• To learn all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair.
• To shadow and work alongside a workplace mentor; carrying out tasks as instructed.
• Advising the service team about required repairs.
• Carrying out tasks to the standards expected by the company and manufacturer.

About You

You will be an enthusiastic learner and have a keen interest in the motor trade and have a strong desire for vehicle maintenance to be able to successfully fulfil this role. Ideally you will be passionate about vehicles and you will need to demonstrate good communication skills, both written and oral, and have a minimum of 4 G.C.S.E Grades 4-9.
