Part Time - Team Assistant
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a part-time Team Assistant to join the Corporate & Commercial team in Salisbury. This role provides administrative support and offers flexibility on hours (20-25 hours per week).

Role overview
As a Team Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the fee earners within the Corporate & Commercial team, helping to ensure the smooth running of the team and the efficient delivery of client services. This is a part time opportunity with flexibility on hours and days a week (ideally 20 - 25 hour working week).
The work you'll be doing
- Diary management, as required
- Audio dictation and document production
- Assisting with the organisation and management of transaction data sites and document execution (including via DocuSign)
- Supporting compliance with the firm’s risk management and best practice procedures, including client onboarding and file opening
- Assisting with billing and invoicing processes
- Providing general administrative support to the team
In order to assist with these aspects the candidate will be trained to use: the firm's data site system, DocuSign, the firm's practice management system, and the client ID verification software product currently being rolled out by the firm.
Experience and Qualifications
- Previous experience in a legal or professional services environment preferred (but not essential).
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce work of a consistently high standard
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
- Able to spot issues and suggest practical solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of legal terminology and legal administrative procedures is desirable
The team you'll be joining
Our Corporate & Commercial team advises on a broad range of commercial matters for a diverse client base. This includes company mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, investments and fundraising, shareholder arrangements, LLP and partnership structures, and a wide variety of commercial contracts. The team currently consists of three Partners, a consultant, a Senior Associate, a Solicitor, a Trainee Solicitor and a Company Secretarial Assistant. The team also includes two partners specialising in charity law matters. This is a part-time role, and we offer flexibility in terms of working hours and days.
