Core Responsibilities

  • Provide end-user support in the London office, being the primary point of contact for all technology issues.
  • Take full ownership of support desk tickets, managing issues end-to-end from initial request through to resolution, escalating only when necessary.
  • Assist with the management of the global Windows and Microsoft 365 estate.
  • Build new workstations and laptops using our automated pipeline, full training provided.
  • Maintaining global standards, recommending areas for improvement, and suggesting solutions.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft 365 enterprise ecosystem, including SharePoint and Exchange administration.
  • Solid experience across the Windows stack, including Active Directory configuration, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, etc.
  • Good understanding of networking technologies.
  • Ability to take an idea or concept, and see it through to implementation, collaborating with other team members as required.
  • Ability to understand and breakdown a problem, then document the resolution so everyone else can understand.

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of PowerShell or Python is highly advantageous, but not essential, however they will be required to develop this skill to be successful in this role.
  • Security first mindset, ensuring security standards are maintained across the estate and not afraid to challenge the norm.
  • Jira/Confluence administration.
  • Experience with backup and restore products.
  • Mac OSX or Linux Knowledge.
