OMB/Mixed Tax Manager

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking an OMB/Mixed Tax Manager for its Corporate and Business Tax team in City, London. This is a permanent, full-time, hybrid role with a compensation of £67,000 - £72,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities

The role offers excellent opportunities to work on a broad range of tax advisory projects. The candidate will work closely with partners and junior members, deliver tax advice, manage compliance, and support business development. Responsibilities include:

  • A good working knowledge of corporation tax, income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, VAT, and stamp duty/SDLT.
  • Assisting clients with business restructurings, share reorganizations, and reliefs.
  • Preparing tax valuations and clearance letters for HMRC.
  • Advising on employee share incentives (EMI) and growth shares.
  • Advising on EIS/SEIS reliefs and making advance assurance submissions.
  • Reviewing OMB corporation tax returns and supporting General Practice with audit computations.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • ACA/ACCA and CTA/ATT qualified preferred.
  • Extensive experience providing tax advisory services to owner-managed businesses.
  • Advanced Excel and Word skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Team player with mentoring experience.
  • Organised, motivated, and able to prioritise work.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and win trust.
