Now, as we grow, we're looking for a senior leader to own how we welcome groups, host events, and turn every enquiry into an unforgettable experience.

The Role
As Head of Reservations and Events, you'll lead the team that owns all inbound reservations and events activity across the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] portfolio. From group dining and private hire to full venue buyouts, your team will be the first point of contact for every enquiry and you'll set the standard for how those enquiries are handled, converted, and delivered. You'll build the team, develop the commercial strategy, and ensure the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] guest experience is felt from the very first message. Reporting into senior leadership, you'll be a key voice in how the brand grows its events offering.
What You'll Do
- Lead the reservations and events team to own all inbound enquiries across [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] sites, setting the standard for response times, communication quality, and conversion
- Develop and execute a commercial events strategy that drives private dining, group bookings, and venue hire revenue across the portfolio
- Build, develop, and day-to-day manage the reservations & events team, creating a high-performing function that handles every enquiry with warmth, speed, and precision
- Design and manage the end-to-end events process, from first enquiry and proposal through to on-the-day delivery and post-event follow-up
- Work closely with the Operations team to align events with kitchen capacity, service capability, and brand standards
- Manage the reservations system, ensuring accuracy of covers, deposits, dietary requirements, and guest communications at all times
- Produce regular reporting on enquiry volumes, conversion rates, revenue, and pipeline, sharing clear insight with senior leadership
- Cultivate relationships with corporate clients, agencies, and repeat guests to build a loyal events community around the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] brand
Who We're Looking For
You'll be a natural host, someone who is as comfortable building a commercial pipeline as they are looking after a guest on the day of their event. You'll bring:
- Proven experience in a senior reservations or events role within hospitality, ideally across multiple sites or a premium dining brand
- A commercial mindset, you understand revenue targets, conversion metrics, and how to grow an events business with purpose
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] warmly and professionally at every touchpoint
- Strong organisational instincts, you build systems, maintain accuracy, and never let detail slip under pressure
- Experience managing and developing a team, with a coaching approach that gets the best from people
- Confidence working with reservations platforms (e.g. SevenRooms, OpenTable, or similar) and comfortable with reporting and data
- A genuine passion for Italian food, hospitality, and the kind of guest experience that feels personal, not transactional
