Deputy Headteacher
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Group is seeking an exceptional Deputy Headteacher to join the senior leadership team at Silverways School in Enfield, London. Salary: £67,176 - £73,708 per annum. Permanent, full-time position. Closing date: 12/05/2026.
The Role
Working closely with the Headteacher, the Deputy Headteacher will:
- Provide inspirational leadership and contribute to the strategic vision of the school
- Support and, where appropriate, lead on teaching and learning, curriculum development, behaviour, safeguarding, and inclusion
- Take a leading role in staff development, coaching, and performance management
- Contribute to whole-school self-evaluation and improvement planning
- Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and assume Headteacher responsibilities in their absence
This is a key leadership position for someone passionate about making a genuine difference to the lives of pupils with special educational needs and supporting staff to be their best.
Ideal Candidate
- Experienced and successful senior or middle leader with a strong track record of impact
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Deep understanding of high-quality teaching, learning, and inclusion
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- Shares Silverways School’s values and has the drive and resilience for senior leadership
- Ideally experience within a special school or alternative provision (not essential)
