The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and skilled English & Media Studies Teacher to join our team. Media is taught from Year 7 and Year 8, leading to a BTEC Level 1 and 2 Media pathway.
- Teach Media to Year 7 and Year 8, building core knowledge and practical skills.
- Deliver BTEC Level 1/2 Media, supporting portfolio development.
- Plan engaging, structured lessons with clear routines.
- Use assessment and feedback to improve outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff and therapists.
- Contribute to enrichment opportunities.
Who We Are Looking For
- Excellent classroom practitioner with calm, consistent approach.
- Experience teaching Media and/or vocational portfolio-based learning (BTEC preferred).
- Understands how to adapt teaching for autistic students.
