The Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and skilled English & Media Studies Teacher to join our team. Media is taught from Year 7 and Year 8, leading to a BTEC Level 1 and 2 Media pathway.

  • Teach Media to Year 7 and Year 8, building core knowledge and practical skills.
  • Deliver BTEC Level 1/2 Media, supporting portfolio development.
  • Plan engaging, structured lessons with clear routines.
  • Use assessment and feedback to improve outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff and therapists.
  • Contribute to enrichment opportunities.

  • Excellent classroom practitioner with calm, consistent approach.
  • Experience teaching Media and/or vocational portfolio-based learning (BTEC preferred).
