Job Description
You will be a key contributor within a dynamic business development team with a focus on winning new business. You will be responsible for building new relationships – this is not an account management role.
Main Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new target companies in the CGT industry
- Work alongside lead generation/marketing colleagues to develop opportunities
- Secure face-to-face time with prospective accounts
- Proactively scope out new projects and solicit RFPs
- Prepare new business development reports
Person Specification
Essential
- Minimum BSc in life sciences or engineering
- 2+ years Sales/Business Development experience
- 4+ years in pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry
- Existing network in CGT industry
Desirable
- 5+ years Sales/BD experience in CGT
- PhD in life sciences or engineering
- Experience with CRM systems
