Senior Software Development Manager

A well-established international technology company is seeking a Senior Software Development Manager to lead a team of ~15 software engineers developing systems software used in RF and wireless communications environments.

This is a hands-off leadership role. While the team develops complex C++ systems software, the focus of the role is team leadership, organisation and enabling engineers to succeed, rather than writing code.

You will lead a team ranging from graduates through to experienced architects, helping maintain a strong engineering culture and ensuring the delivery of well-structured, high-quality software.

This role would suit a people-focused engineering manager who enjoys developing teams and navigating a large international organisation — rather than someone looking for a hands-on technical leadership role.
