The Opportunity

We are offering the opportunity for newly qualified driver to join one of our teams through our New Driver Coaching Program. You will spend 2 to 3 weeks with our driver coaches who will further develop the skills you have learnt during your training. Skills such as manoeuvring in confined spaces, coupling and uncoupling without getting covered in grease, driving an automatic truck, how a trailer should be loaded, how to use a refrigeration unit, and much, much more. You will then be sent out on the road with one of our selected driver mentors who will give you some real-world experience, showing you the procedures you will need to understand when delivering to the wide range of customers we supply. Then having been assessed by the driver coach we will send you out on your own, starting with a few simple deliveries at first. As you grow in confidence and experience you will move on to the more distant and involved delivery routes.

Where will you be working?

We are launching this program at all 5 of our depots nationwide giving you the opportunity to work from 7 locations once you are trained. The training will take place at the following depots: Eye, Suffolk | Scunthorpe, Nth Lincs.
