Production Operative
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] PLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Operative to join the team in Redditch. This full-time, permanent, site-based role involves assembling computer-based products to high quality standards, interpreting technical documentation and engineering drawings, and supporting operational areas as needed.
- Location: Redditch, UK
- Hours: 38 hours per week, Mon–Thurs 7:30–16:00, Fri 7:30–13:30
- Salary: Competitive
- Job Type: Permanent / Full-time

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble computer-based products to required quality standards
- Interpret technical documentation and engineering drawings
- Identify and escalate technical issues where necessary
- Support other areas of operations as required
Key Skills & Competencies
- Good understanding of computer hardware components
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and applications
- High level of manual dexterity
- Physically fit and able
- Organised, tidy, and efficient approach
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and develop
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong work ethic with ability to meet targets
Desirable Skills
- Basic knowledge of BIOS (AMI, Phoenix) or UEFI configuration
- Basic Windows OS configuration experience
- Understanding of mechanical assembly
- Ability to read technical documentation or schematics
- Experience with soldering and cable harnessing (J-STD or IPC-620A preferred)
