About this role
As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Manufacturing site. You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and improvement of our machinery and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment
- Respond promptly to machinery breakdowns and perform repairs
- Carry out machine adjustments and changeovers
- Monitor and calibrate equipment for accuracy and safety
- Collaborate with production teams for process improvement
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines
About you
- Qualifications to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in mechanical/electrical engineering
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in FMCG industry
- Proficient in troubleshooting industrial machinery including conveyors, motors, pumps
- Proactive approach to maintenance
- Good understanding of HACCP principles
- Excellent communication skills and assertiveness
