Job Purpose
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Ltd is seeking a talented and innovative Internet Developer to spearhead the development and maintenance of its online presence, including the company website and online marketplace platforms such as Amazon and eBay. The ideal candidate will have expertise in web development, e-commerce platforms, and digital marketing strategies to drive online sales and enhance brand visibility.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain the company website, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience for customers.
- Implement responsive design principles to optimize the website for desktop, mobile, and tablet devices.
- Integrate e-commerce functionalities, such as online catalog browsing, secure payment gateways, and order processing systems.
- Create and manage listings on online marketplace platforms such as Amazon, eBay, and others.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze metrics, and implement strategies to increase online sales and visibility.
- Optimize product listings with relevant keywords, images, and descriptions to enhance search visibility and conversion rates.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for website and e-commerce platform issues.
- Conduct regular maintenance tasks, including software updates, security patches, and performance optimization, to ensure the smooth functioning of online platforms.
- Analyze website traffic, user behavior, and sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Generate reports and insights to inform decision-making and strategic planning for online initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in web development, e-commerce, and digital marketing.
- Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Shopify) and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento, WooCommerce).
- Knowledge of SEO best practices, Google Analytics, and digital marketing tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Commitment to staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
