Senior Clinical Psychologist
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Group is seeking a Senior Clinical Psychologist to join their IAPT and Step 4 mental health services. The role involves providing supervision, training, and managing a small clinical caseload remotely. The ideal candidate will be HCPC registered, experienced in CBT, supervision, and treating complex mental health presentations in adults. The position offers flexibility, CPD opportunities, and a competitive salary equivalent to NHS Band 8a.
The Role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team to help support our IAPT and Step 4 mental health services by providing supervision, training to the staff team and managing a small clinical caseload. This role will appeal to individuals who like variety in their work and want to develop clinical leadership skills. Working remotely, the Senior Clinical Psychologist will be expected to work across IAPT and the Step 4 mental health service; they will spend some of their time supervising and training assistant psychologists who deliver group-based interventions within IAPT and autonomously managing a clinical caseload in our Step 4 Psychological Therapy Service (PTS). The Senior Clinical Psychologist will have the opportunity to shape existing service provision through training, audit, and creating and implementing service development initiatives. They will be part of a supportive and dynamic team and have access to regular CPD and supervision by a Consultant Clinical Psychologist.
Skills and Experience
- HCPC registered
- Experience of training and supervising others
- Competent in at least one therapeutic approach, such as CBT
- Experience of treating complex mental health presentations in adults
- MDT working
- Experience of delivering training
- Awareness of and commitment to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion
Desirable:
- Experience of working in IAPT
- Experience of working in secondary care psychological services
- Trained in: Mentalisation-based Therapy (MBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Analytical Therapy (CAT)
- Experience of working across different services
