• Smoothing and finishing freshly poured cement or concrete.
• Maintaining and servicing building tools and construction equipment.
• Using power tools and hand tools.
• Maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
• Laying building materials, such as brick, structural tile, and concrete cinder, glass, gypsum, and terra cotta block to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, sewers, and other structures.
• Spreads of mortar that serves as base and binder for block, using trowel.
• Frequently lifting, carrying and handling items weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Shovelling earth and rubble into tips.
• Demolishing buildings and walls.
• Positioning, joining, aligning, and sealing pipe sections.
• Digging and filling trenches and ditches.
• Shovelling cement and other materials
• Locating water and sewer lines.
• Lubricating, cleaning, and repairing machinery, equipment, and tools.
• Cleaning up after any building work has been done.

Reactive and planned building maintenance & repairs works:

• Plastering, re-skimming, rendering, patching and Artex cover up.
• Roofing- Carry out a range of repairs and installations to flat and pitched roofing including repairing cracks and blisters, caulking cracks, and replacing defective flashing to areas of flat roofing membranes. Install and repair flood coating and reflective coatings. Clean roof surfaces and gutters of debris.
• Groundworks – Carry out a range of groundwork, fencing and clearance repairs and renewals including repair and maintain footpaths, relaying of paving slabs, pouring, and levelling concrete and all associated tasks. Repair and erect fencing including digging and concreting in posts where necessary. Carry out digging, levelling, backfilling and landscaping works. Clear gardens and household rubbish and remove off site and dispose of same to approved waste site.
