FULL DESCRIPTION
Regional Account Manager - North
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] - Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom
Salary: circa £40,000 depending on experience, plus car allowance and performance bonus
Description
Ready to take your food knowledge beyond the kitchen?
We are all about exceptional ingredients, brilliant service, and genuine relationships. We supply restaurants, hotels, cafes, bars, delis, farm shops and caterers with products that excite and inspire, and we do it with warmth, honesty and a deep love for food.
We're looking for a Regional Account Manager to be the friendly, knowledgeable face of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] and to look after our customers across the North and Midlands, supported from our Stoke operation, including Birmingham, Liverpool, Leeds and Manchester. This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced chef or food professional who loves great ingredients, thrives on building relationships, and is ready for a fresh challenge with more structure, freedom and work–life balance.
You’ll work closely with the team in supporting existing customers and welcoming new ones. Rather than selling for the sake of it, this role is about sharing knowledge, inspiring menus, solving problems and being a trusted partner to the businesses you work with.
If you enjoy talking food, running tastings, spotting trends and helping others create great dishes — just without split shifts and late nights — this could be the perfect next step.
While our site is based in Stoke, this role is primarily field-based, with the majority of time spent visiting and supporting our customers at their premises. When not with customers, we are happy to accommodate remote or home working. There will also be occasional requirements to travel to our main site in Dartford, Kent, for meetings and collaboration, so some flexibility to travel is needed.
Requirements
We’re open to different backgrounds, but you’ll ideally bring:
- Experience in hospitality, food service or kitchens (chef experience is highly welcomed)
- A genuine passion for fine and speciality ingredients
- Confidence building strong, professional relationships
- A warm, approachable and trustworthy communication style
- The ability to work independently and manage your own diary and territory
- Comfort using basic IT systems (email, spreadsheets, messaging apps)
- A full UK driving licence
- Curiosity, energy and a proactive mindset
Sales experience is helpful but not essential — your food knowledge, people skills and enthusiasm are what really matter.
Job Preview
This is a unique chance to use your chef skills in a new way — influencing menus, supporting customers and championing exceptional ingredients — while enjoying regular working hours, autonomy over your day, and a long‑term career path outside the kitchen.
You’ll represent a respected brand, work with like‑minded food lovers, and build meaningful relationships across the hospitality industry — all with the backing of a supportive team and strong product range.
If you’re a chef ready for a new challenge without losing your connection to food, we’d love to hear from you.
