Warehouse Operative (Afternoon)

Location: Unit 2 Clipper Boulevard, Crossways Commercial Park, Dartford, DA2 6QB, United Kingdom

Salary: £27,293 per annum

Employee Type: Full-Time

Shift: 1pm-10pm, 5 days a week

Join Our Growing Warehouse Team! Looking for a hands-on role in a dynamic, fast paced environment? We're expanding our Warehouse team and need hard-working team players with an eye for detail to help pick and pack top-quality produce for our customers. If you take pride in your work and thrive in a team setting, we'd love to have you on board!

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Picking orders in our ambient section ensuring order accuracy
  • Quality checking products and maintaining consistency
  • Storing products/orders methodically - ensuring ready for dispatch
  • Communicating any product shorts or substitutes accurately and efficiently
  • Moving stock around, stacking shelves, and general warehouse duties

Requirements

This is a fast-paced role working in a highly-pressurised environment, therefore experience working in a similar environment is desired, but not essential as full training will be provided. Our mandatory requirements include:

  • Ability to read and understand pick lists and product details
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, to liaise with the team and management
  • Great team player who works hard, ensuring we hit targets and achieve results
  • Work collaboratively and autonomously, using initiative where needed
  • Perform under pressure, adapting to changing workload and priorities
  • Reliable and motivated, with a desire to succeed
