Description
Interested in a new challenge? Join our Sales Support team! As a Business Support & Sales Coordinator you will play a key role in supporting the Sales team and contributing to [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]’s ongoing growth.
Shift: 8-hours, Monday - Friday
Salary: £28,061 per annum
As a member of the team you will be responsible for managing incoming requests to the sales support inbox, coordinating customer information and product documentation, preparing reports, and assisting account managers with both administrative and commercial activity. Your key responsibilities will also include:
- Sales Support Operations
- Respond to incoming tasks and enquiries via the Sales Support Inbox.
- Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to the Sales team and account managers.
- Support new business enquiries and coordinate follow-up activity.
- Open and set-up new customer accounts.
- Data & Reporting
- Prepare reports for customers and account managers, primarily using Excel.
- Analyse sales data to support performance insights and commercial decision-making.
- Update, maintain, and ensure accuracy of the customer database.
- Participate in future sales planning.
- Customer & Product Coordination
- Organise and dispatch product samples.
- Produce allergen and nutritional reports and supply specification sheets to customers.
- Assist with customer communication, including marketing outreach, phone calls, emails, and customer visits.
- Prepare tender documentation and pricing proposals, liaising with internal departments to gather accurate and timely information.
- Commercial Support
- Support stock clearance communication (calls and emails)
- Contribute to speciality produce initiatives and general commercial development.
- Help drive sales with existing customers through proactive engagement.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience in customer service or sales is desired but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel; confident working with data.
- Computer literate with solid knowledge of Outlook, Word, and general systems.
- Ability to manage and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
