Junior Project managers – multiple locations

Location: Newcastle, York, Leeds

Salary: £30,000-£45,000

Type: Permanent

Primary Responsibilities

  • Integration and assurance of externally funded rail projects, ensuring safe and compliant delivery through governance (including GRIP), and effective management of interfaces, risks and stakeholders across the project lifecycle.
  • Degree-level education (or equivalent experience) with project management qualification (PRINCE2 Foundation or equivalent) and APM membership (or working towards).
  • Proven delivery experience in the rail environment, with strong knowledge of operational railway and infrastructure.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; able to build relationships, collaborate and constructively challenge.
  • Strong understanding of safety, health and environmental legislation and frameworks (CDM Regulations, CSM-RA) and project risk management.
  • Commercial awareness including programme controls and budget management, with knowledge of GRIP.
