Job Description
Are you an experienced trust and estate practitioner looking for a new challenge? Join our existing trust team as a Trust Manager and work alongside our wider Private Client Team to achieve our firm’s strategic goals. In this role, you’ll manage a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance deadlines are met and providing top-tier technical support. You’ll collaborate with partners and colleagues to deliver exceptional advice to Trusts, Estates, and High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs) and their families. Additionally, you’ll assist with advisory projects, including estate administration, while staying updated on the latest developments in the Trust arena. As part of a well-established and growing team, this role offers the opportunity to work on a varied and high-quality portfolio while contributing to the continued development of our Private Client offering. With a team of 35, including 4 partners, the Private Client team offers a strong, collaborative environment with depth of expertise, clear progression opportunities and ambitious plans for continued growth. We seek someone with demonstrable experience in advising trustees, excellent knowledge of trust compliance, and strong communication skills. Experience with onshore trusts is essential, and offshore trust experience is a plus. While probate experience is desirable, it’s not essential. Formal qualifications like CTA, STEP, or CILEX are preferred. We welcome applications from individuals who are Qualified by Experience (QBE), as well as those with formal qualifications. If you’re detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities, and passionate about training and developing team members, we want to hear from you!
