[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is looking for ambitious school leavers and graduates to join our Private Client Tax team as Trainee Tax Advisers from summer 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop a stimulating career in tax with Cambridge’s largest independent accountancy firm. You’ll gain hands-on experience preparing tax returns, supporting advisory projects and learning from our diverse client base, while completing our structured training programme to qualify as a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA). What will you be doing day to day?
As a Trainee Tax Adviser in the Private Client team, you’ll assist with tax return preparation, basic tax computations and support tax planning and advisory assignments. You’ll work on both client-focused projects and office-based tasks, gaining exposure to our diverse and exciting client base across various industry sectors.

What are we looking for?
- A minimum of 112 UCAS points from all your ‘A’ Levels in relevant subjects and/or a minimum 2:2 degree
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Professional approach with a good eye for detail
- Ability to work flexibly and supportively within a busy team
- Commitment to maintaining high professional standards.
