Director of Product and Technology
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is delighted to present a Director of Product and Technology opportunity for a high-growth Tech for Good SaaS business. The role offers £90,000 to £100,000 based in Manchester (MCR) on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the product vision & roadmap, aligned to growth, revenue, and customer outcomes
- Lead innovation across B2C Web & Mobile apps and B2B SaaS platforms, with a strong focus on AI and automation
- Build and scale AI-powered products from zero to one including rapid prototyping, MVP development, and iteration
- Work hands-on with LLMs like Claude and GPT to unlock new product capabilities
- Design and implement AI-enhanced engineering workflows to accelerate delivery
- Translate market insight, customer needs, and business strategy into clear, actionable priorities
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure product delivery drives ARR growth and commercial performance
- Provide technical leadership, guiding architecture and ensuring scalability, security, and resilience
- Lead and grow a high-performing, agile technology team, fostering a culture of pace, quality, and continuous improvement
- Drive end-to-end execution, from discovery and validation through to release and iteration
- Support expansion through M&A, shaping platform strategy, integrations, and product synergies
Person Requirements
- Proven experience leading Product & Technology in start up / high growth SaaS environments
- Strong product leadership driving roadmap ownership, prioritisation, and customer-centric delivery
- Technical credibility, you can shape architecture and guide engineering, even if you’re not hands-on coding daily
- Experience embedding AI into products and workflows, identifying high-impact use cases
- A commercial mindset, you understand how product decisions drive revenue, retention, and growth
- Confident stakeholder leadership, balancing speed, quality, and competing priorities
- High energy, curiosity, and creativity, you bring momentum and thrive in fast-moving environments
