Audit and Accounts Assistant – Fixed Term (Guildford)

Job Requirements

  • Predicted 2.2 degree or higher in any discipline.
  • Preferably 5 GCSEs or equivalent including Mathematics grade 6 (B) and English Language grade 4/5 (C).
  • Educated to A Level (minimum 120 UCAS points from top 3 A levels excluding General Studies).
  • Experience of MS Office products, in particular Word and Excel.
  • Professional attitude when dealing with clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to plan and organise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Self motivation and uses initiative.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites and the Firm’s London office if required.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with audit and accounting assignments.
  • Prepare monthly or quarterly management accounts.
  • Prepare financial accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
