[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is looking for a proactive individual to join [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] as a Senior Associate within our Corporate & Commercial Team based out of our Stourbridge, Wolverhampton, Worcester or Telford office. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years’ experience of managing both corporate and commercial matters on behalf of sole traders, partners, directors and shareholders. We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented professional to take the lead on a diverse caseload of corporate and commercial matters.

What the job involves

  • Manage a full portfolio of files, ensuring clients receive exceptional service and tailored advice.
  • Work alongside experienced colleagues on high-value matters such as sales, mergers and acquisitions, company restructures, and complex commercial contracts.
  • Contribute to the long term growth of the department through business development and networking initiatives.
  • Providing expert advice across key areas, including: Asset and share purchases; Business sales, mergers, and acquisitions; Commercial agreements—terms of business, supply, distribution, service, and franchise agreements; Shareholder agreements and articles of association; LLP and Partnership agreements; Company restructures and governance; General business and corporate advisory work.

What you need

  • At least 6 years qualified experience as a Solicitor within a corporate and commercial team managing your own caseload across a variety of matters.
  • High level of attention to detail, excellent planning and organisation skills and confident working to strict deadlines.
  • Passionate about giving outstanding client care to clients and referrers with effective interpersonal skills, sensitivity, tact and diplomacy.
