Solicitor – Commercial/Property Litigation

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a talented Litigation Solicitor to join their growing Dispute Resolution team in Leek. This is a full-time, on-site position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

What does the job involve?

  • Advising individuals and business clients on a wide range of disputes, including debt recovery, property litigation, shareholder and partnership disputes, warranty disputes, contract disputes, professional negligence claims and general commercial litigation
  • Providing clear, commercially focused legal advice across both commercial and property litigation
  • Managing your own caseload while working collaboratively within a large, multidisciplinary team
  • Ensuring compliance with SRA, Lexcel, Law Society Quality Scheme standards, SARs and accounting requirements
  • Supporting departmental growth, contributing to business development and building local professional relationships

What do you need?

  • Qualified Solicitor with experience in commercial and/or property litigation (1–3 PQE ideal, though all levels considered)
  • Strong understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules, with confidence handling applications and advocacy where appropriate
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing deadlines and competing priorities
  • Proficient in MS Office, case management systems and online research tools
  • Passion for delivering exceptional client service
  • Interest in business development and relationship building
