FULL DESCRIPTION
System Support Engineer
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Ltd is seeking a System Support Engineer to join the IT Operations team. This on-site role is based in London and Gatwick, 5 days per week. You will provide 1st line technical support, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and assist with network maintenance.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing 1st line support to help users solve technical issues with their computers, both hardware and software
- Liaising directly with end users to resolve problems
- Working within a team to triage problems
- Logging technical support requests over the telephone or by email
- Using remote control tools and technologies
- Adhering to Service Level Agreements
- Inducting new starters
- Documenting systems and procedures
- Occasionally traveling to other UK offices and onsite events
What You’ll Need
- Previous experience in an office-based role (IT or Tech Support-related role desirable)
- Experience supporting Mac OS X in a Microsoft Windows network environment – essential
- Experience troubleshooting software (Windows 10 and/or 11) and hardware fault diagnosis desirable
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) essential; Microsoft 365 highly desirable
- Located within a reasonable commuting time from both London and Gatwick offices
- Ability to demonstrate practicing knowledge of Windows 10 and Mac OS X
- Experience with and knowledge of GDPR highly desirable
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated and proactive with strong teamwork and communication skills
- Calm, patient and empathetic approach
