What We're Looking For

Tasks

• Translate technical requirements into detailed backend designs creating tier 1 scalable systems and a joyful customer experience.
• Drive innovation, maintainability, performance, scalability, and headless systems under strict timelines.
• Lead backend engineering and solve complex problems: optimal schema design, 100% uptime, high-end security, credit scoring gamification, invoice matching algorithm, payment orchestration, analytics system.
• Integrate with external systems: Stripe, Plaid, QuickBooks, Economic.

Requirements

• 4+ years Python
• 4+ years AWS
• 1+ years banking integrations (valued)
• 1+ years accounting integrations (valued)
• 1+ years payment gateways (Stripe)
• Backend development experience (MQ, caches, architectural patterns)
• Experience with tests (Unit/Integration/Performance)
• Performance and optimisation problem diagnosis and prevention
• Extreme attention to detail, obsession for scalable systems
• Hands-on with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, AWS CodeDeploy)
• Working knowledge of cyber security
• Experience with Postman
