CNC Setter/ Programmer

Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England
Salary: £16 - 21 per hour
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Shifts: Mon–Thurs 6–2 / 2–10, Fri 6–12 / 12–6
Role Overview
- Create and optimise offline CNC programs
- Set up machines, tooling, jigs, and work holding
- Run and monitor production, carrying out in‑process checks
- Work with QA to verify and adjust parts
- Troubleshoot tooling, programming, and machine issues
- Complete documentation and basic maintenance
What You’ll Need
- CNC programming experience (G‑code/M‑code, CAM)
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- 1–2+ years CNC setting/operating (3–5 axis preferred)
- Experience with aluminium is a bonus
- Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Able to lift up to 20kg and work rotating shifts
