Senior Collaboration Engineer
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a Senior Collaboration Engineer in London (Hybrid). This is a permanent full-time position with a salary of £60-£70k per annum. Closing date: 15th May 2026.
The Role
Workplace Technology is a pivotal department within [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], they provide us with all the tools to do our jobs efficiently and successfully. The role will require you to work collaboratively with other Workplace Technology teams to resolve incidents and deliver on requests. You will be brought on the journey to deliver the Workplace Technology strategy and roadmap which will provide ample opportunity for your own personal growth and development. The Collaboration team are the subject matter experts across a wide variety of collaboration tools, services and applications in use across the whole business. We select, maintain and support those tools and help our colleagues to make the best use of the technologies available to them.
Main Responsibilities
- Subject matter expert in collaboration tools in particular Google Workspace. Knowledge of additional apps like Slack, Atlassian Suite and Miro will be appreciated.
- Technical implementation of collaboration tools, features and enhancements.
- Use of data migration tools to support integration and standardisation objectives
- Experienced with the implementation of Security and Compliance features in Google Workspace like DLP, Labels, Vault retention.
- Deep understanding of Meeting Room Hardware like Chromeboxes, and Chrome Browser Cloud Management.
- Evaluating new features of collaboration tools in use and presenting the benefits of implementation to the team
- Troubleshooting level-2 and Level-3 issues and liaising with Support Teams.
- Liaising between technology and the business and translating technical requirements into clear language.
- Preparing relevant business change artifacts such as impact assessments to facilitate obtaining approvals for change
- Data Analysis & reporting across all activities.
- Liaising with the Service Manager to ensure successful execution of project activities.
- Interacting with technical staff and suppliers to ensure the changes are raised and implemented correctly and in a timely manner
Skills You'll Need (Minimum Criteria)
- Certified Associate Google Workspace Administrator
- Solid experience of Google Workspace Administration in an technical role
- Experience of the use of data migration tools to migrate structured data into Google Workspace
- Experience of working within a project team, contributing to successful delivery
- Understanding of Change Management and approval processes.
- Experience of working in Agile delivery environments
- Experience of working closely with both technical experts and business stakeholders, and of being the conduit between these disciplines
- Media industry experience preferred but not essential
- Able to accurately assess priorities and pressures and manage workload accordingly.
- Excellent written and verbal skills including advanced spreadsheet knowledge and skills
- Must be a structured thinker who is able to solve problems by adopting a methodical approach.
- Must have strong interpersonal and influencing skills, able to build strong relationships with senior and peer level business stakeholders.
- End user experience focused. Understands the importance of colleague feedback and measurement to inform solution development.
