People Manager
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a People Manager on a fixed-term 18-month contract. This role is based in White City, London with hybrid working. The salary range is 35,000 - 45,000 per year. Closing date: 11th May 2026.
The Role
We’re looking for an agile, proactive People Manager to join our divisional People team. This is a brilliant opportunity to work alongside experienced People Business Partners, helping to implement strategic plans that actually make a difference.
You’ll be the first port of call for managers, providing comprehensive advice and helping them lead with confidence. Key Responsibilities
- Advisor to leaders and managers: Build and maintain effective relationships, act as critical friend, advise on [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] policy and process, support Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy.
- Problem Solving and resolution: Work with client groups and Business Partners to find solutions.
- Organisational Design: Deliver and support implementation of OD for the division, support changes and restructures.
- Projects and change: Support delivery of projects and act as advocate for change.
- Employee Relations: Guide, support, and advise line managers through everyday HR situations, manage sickness absence, stress risk assessments, occupational health referrals, probation, capability, performance, grievances, and conflicts of interest.
- Risk & Compliance: Identify operational risk, ensure effective implementation and compliance with People policies, meet regulatory and legal requirements.
- Data: Take accountability for People data and use insights to influence decisions.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to quality and continuous improvement, maintain knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
Skills You’ll Need (Minimum Criteria)
- HR generalist experience, preferably in a fast paced, high profile organisation
- Demonstrable experience in identifying and resolving employee relations risks and issues
- Ideally experience in working within a HR operating model utilising Centres of Excellence
- Experience of providing a proactive HR service
- Good working knowledge and understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice initiatives
- Some experience of delivering operational HR in a matrix environment
- Foundation in employment law and understanding of its application in a business context
