FULL DESCRIPTION

Pharmacy Technician - Poppyfields

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. This is a 32-hour permanent position with the store's opening hours operating between 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. The team currently comprises a Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, a Supervising Pharmacist, 1 Relief Pharmacist and 3 Technicians. This store has manageable items and services.

The responsibilities of the role

Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Requirements

Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).
IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage
