FULL DESCRIPTION

Field Service Engineer - Epsom, Redhill, Woking

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], part of the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Group, is seeking a Field Service Technician to install and maintain access control systems across the UK.

What you will do

  • Connect, commission and maintain SKIDATA equipment, IT hardware/software, Network devices, EV charging and other access control devices.
  • Ensuring that our access solutions operate as specified while providing reliable maintenance, repairs and customer service.
  • Escalate technical issues to Technical Services Team.
  • Complete customer hardware and software training remotely via Cornerstone software.

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting IT hardware and software and basic electrical knowledge.
  • Experience with operation and maintenance of access devices including installation and flashing Firmware (Linux) and software configuration.
  • Basic Network technology – including TCP/IP protocols and ability to solve technical network problems.
  • Ability to work in carpark, stadia and construction environments and holds a valid UK drivers licence.
  • Will travel nationally and stay overnight when required.
