FULL DESCRIPTION

Private Banking Executive

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Private Banking Executive to support Private Bankers with client acquisition, retention, and lending proposals. This hybrid role offers one day per week working from home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Main point of contact and accountability for clients in respect to their day-to-day banking
  • Building and monitoring client relationships
  • Supporting Private Bankers in developing, growing and retaining their portfolio of HNW Clients
  • Identifying new sales opportunities
  • Undertaking proactive client calls and facilitating client meetings
  • Preparing full client briefs and research for private bankers
  • Managing account maintenance procedures including account opening and closing
  • Initiating, discussing and completing Credit Applications on behalf of Private Bankers
  • Monitoring return of Facility letters and completing LMF/interest rate/fee forms
  • Preparing annual credit reviews and client reviews
  • Completing shadow postings and maintaining client files

Person Specification

  • Front office experience required
  • Good understanding of HNW segment and market
  • Detailed technical knowledge around all areas of Lending
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements covering money laundering and criminal activity
  • Strong interest in financial markets
  • Knowledge of wealth management in banking products
  • Multi-tasking capability
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and IT literacy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working towards or holding CeMAP or equivalent
