Role Overview

The Research Executive plays a hands-on, insight-led role across Techtelligence research programmes. You will lead defined research workstreams, analyse market and audience data, and translate complex findings into clear, commercial-grade insights. This role suits someone with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in research, insights, analytics, or market intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead desk research across B2B technology markets, including CX, EX, UC, AI, cloud, and digital workplace.
  • Analyse analyst reports, vendor positioning, survey results, and proprietary datasets.
  • Track competitive activity and technology shifts.
  • Produce research briefs, trend analyses, and insight summaries.
  • Analyse engagement and intent data from GA4, WordPress, and internal platforms.
  • Translate raw data into insight narratives, charts, and executive-level summaries.
  • Write data-led insight sections for reports, whitepapers, blog posts, and intelligence briefings.
  • Support creation of surveys and questionnaires.
  • Own specific research projects from briefing to delivery.
  • Coordinate with Product, Editorial, Marketing, and Commercial teams.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in research, insights, analytics, or market intelligence.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Comfortable with spreadsheets, dashboards, and basic analytics platforms.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Demonstrable interest in enterprise technology, digital transformation, and B2B markets.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with GA4, Looker Studio, WordPress, or similar tools.
  • Experience producing structured research deliverables.
  • Background in market research, journalism, business analysis, marketing, or data.
  • Exposure to CX, EX, AI, UC, SaaS, or enterprise technology sectors.
