Key Responsibilities

• Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and project documentation using estimating software
• Electrical design and electrical estimating as the electrical estimator
• Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and the Purchasing Manager to gather and verify information for estimates
• Reviewing and evaluating subcontractor bids and proposals for competitiveness and compliance
• Monitoring project costs and providing updates and recommendations for cost control
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships and following up on tenders to help strengthen existing partnerships

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Gold Card electrician (preferred) or similar electrician qualifications
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience electrical estimating within the electrical sector
• Experience using an electrical estimating system
• Confident communicator, comfortable working with clients, suppliers, and colleagues
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and organisational skills
• Positive can-do attitude and a desire to grow and progress within a long-standing business
