FULL DESCRIPTION
Workshop Facilitator
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking freelance workshop facilitators to support young women and non-binary people in STEAM. This contract role offers £14–£17 per hour and involves travel across the UK for virtual, hybrid, and physical events.
Responsibilities
- Supporting young women and non-binary people in STEAM, empowering them to make informed choices
- Setting up resources before attendees arrive
- Registering attendees on the day
- Encouraging attendees with their ideas
- Facilitating group discussions
- Capturing content for social media
- Travelling to and from venues across the UK, with travel expenses covered
Qualities
- Outgoing persona to inspire, encourage, and include young participants
- Basic understanding of the STEAM industry
- Strong work ethic
- Demonstrable ability to multitask
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with under-engaged girls

Additional Details
- You will report to School Stemette and will not directly manage other members of staff.
- Dates will be pre-agreed, and Workshop [Employer hidden] will typically be given a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice ahead of running workshops.
- The overall contract will be in line with experience and capabilities, reflecting [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]’ charity status and expectations from our partners.
- You will be mostly on-site but may also work from home for our digital events.
- We pay £14-£17 per hour, depending on your experience and the roles you undertake.
