Staff Nurse (Night Duty)
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Nursing Homes Group is looking for a Staff Nurse to join the team at Muirfield Nursing Home in Gullane, East Lothian. Salary from £23.53 per hour (£38,542 pa based on 31.5 hours) with a £1,500 joining bonus.

Job Purpose
To provide professional clinical nursing to all residents while delivering strong leadership, abiding by the NMC code of professional conduct and supporting the Home Manager.
Main Responsibilities
- Promote highest standards of nursing care
- Provide safe and healthy environment for residents, staff and visitors
- Supervise and support junior staff through effective leadership
- Delegate daily workload in absence of Home Manager
- Set good example in dress, manner, hygiene and behaviour
- Maintain written records and individual care plans
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Minimum 6-12 months post graduate experience in elderly care
- Experience with elderly people with dementia
- Time management and prioritisation skills
- Ability to provide advice and guidance sensitively
- Problem solving and managing diverse situations
- Strong oral and written communication, especially report writing and care planning
- Deal with complex issues and respond appropriately
